Meet the Founder of
Beach Studio Design Build
Beach Studio Design Build was founded by Steve Nelson, a master carpenter with over 40 years of design, woodwork, construction, contracting, and inspection experience working on nearly every type of project in 31 states around the US. As Steve says, "there pretty much isn't anything I haven't built!" His experience level is second to none and that makes him the builder he is today.
At an early age, working in his dad's offices, Steve learned he had a talent for design and architectural drawing. This talent was fueled by education and early job experience, leading Steve to become a master carpenter and pursuing a career dedicated to building properties that inspire others.
Steve has worked on projects of all sizes all around the US in both commercial and residential areas. His projects have won awards and his craftsmanship is renowned in the industry.

A solid consultant and project manager, all the years of experience, and the ability of our clients to rely on us is what makes up the full scope of Beach Studio Design Build & Consulting.

On a Personal Note...
A father to 5 adult children and one super dog, Steve has lived many places but happily calls the beach in Cardiff, CA home.
Steve is also a life-long tennis player and drummer. If he's not working, he's likely out soaking up as much "vitamin sea" as possible.
