Meet the Founder
Beach Studio Design Build & Consulting LLC is led by founder Steve Nelson, a master builder with over 30 years of experience in design, construction, contracting, and structural consulting. Having started in his father’s offices at a young age, Steve quickly discovered a natural talent for design and architectural drawing—and has been building ever since. As Steve says, “There's not much I haven't built.”
Over the decades, Steve has completed projects in 31 states, ranging from luxury coastal estates and commercial restaurants to historic restorations and structural defect consulting. His work is recognized for exceptional craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and practical problem-solving in demanding environments.

On a Personal Note...
A father to 5 adult children and one super dog, Steve has built in many places but happily calls the beach in Encinitas, CA home.
Steve is also a life-long tennis player and drummer. If he's not working, he's likely out soaking up as much "vitamin sea" as possible.
